Conference, Meetings and Events Consultant – Full Time – 37.5 hours

We are currently seeking an experienced conference, meetings and events consultant to work closely with our existing business travel consultants to develop and grow this side of our business. This role can be carried out at either our Cheshire or Hertfordshire offices.

The successful candidate will already be active in this market. They will also be used to finding venues and working with clients to book small and large-scale events, meetings and conferences in the UK or abroad.

Review Travel prides itself on providing excellent customer service, building relationships and ensuring the efficient processing of all bookings and queries.

The right candidate must be used to dealing with an event from enquiry to completion – discussing client requirements, sourcing and presenting relevant suppliers/venues, discussing arrangements and delivering the event.

Necessary skills include:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clients in a conference, meetings and event organising environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to maintain and develop client and supplier relations
  • Experience using a GDS system
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with a systematic approach
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritise, identify opportunities and develop relationships with existing and new clients
