Review Travel attends Air Canada’s System Operations Control

Earlier this week Air Canada, United Airlines and the Fairmont Royal York Hotel welcomed, our CEO, Christian Gleave and the Advantage Focus Partnership to Toronto for a facilities tour of Air Canada’s System Operations Control. Advantage Focus representatives were given the chance to learn about the airline’s comprehensive operation and experience first-hand the critical role SOC employees play in getting travellers to their destinations safely.

“SOC brings together hundreds of employees from many different departments who plan and monitor all Air Canada flights around the world, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.” “SOC is the nerve centre for the 1,800 daily flights Air Canada operates to and from six continents around the world.”

  • Kevin O’Connor, Vice President, Systems Operations Control at Air Canada.

With a jam-packed morning itinerary Christian made the most of his stunning surroundings, finishing the day with a trip to the breath-taking Niagara Falls.

Many thanks to Air Canada, United Airlines and Fairmont Royal York for putting together an unforgettable and informative visit.
